Not everyone gets it. Many friends in the name of practising humour have lost this quality. AdvertisingTitle “Crazy” doesn’t apply to him. The right title should be “sage” of comedy. The actual truth is that he reduced his various talents so he can present the common man in a funny manner. On many occasions, he has openly shared his love for me saying he is Charu, Chandra and Mohan Haasan for me. As a mark of that friendship today, along with his brother Balaji, I placed my hand on his forehead and we bade him farewell. Is it friendship only if the person is alive? There is no end to the friendship.Mohan’s sense of humour will live through his fans, and I too will stand in support of that life.
He has a wonderful, huge joint family. There are no words enough to provide them solace. I pray that they get enough strength to get used to this loss.”— Kamal Haasan (@ikamalhaasan)Crazy Mohan’s first film as dialogue writer was K Balachander’s Poikkal Kudhirai. Creatively, he was a force to be reckoned with as he wrote over 30 plays, appeared in over 40 movies and penned 100 short stories. Mohan was a qualified mechanical engineer and an alumnus of the College of Engineering, Guindy. Many celebrities took to Twitter to share their condolences.RIP sir a genius who can never be replaced bt sir forever u wil live with us through ur writings.
